On August 13, Omaha Mayor John Ewing Jr. and his team visited the Eagle Run Donor Center in a show of support during the ongoing blood emergency. Their visit not only contributed to the urgent need for blood donations but also provided an opportunity for the mayor and his staff to experience Nebraska Community Blood Bank’s (NCBB) new, cutting-edge donor center firsthand.

The group was warmly welcomed by staff, who guided them through the donation process and shared insight into the critical impact of community donations. Mayor Ewing and his team expressed their appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of the NCBB staff and thoroughly enjoyed their time at the center.

Thank you to Mayor Ewing and his team for joining us, and all the staff who welcomed him with open arms!
