Founded in 1968, Nebraska Community Blood Bank is a nonprofit community-based blood center that provides lifesaving blood and blood products to hospitals and other organizations. Nebraska Community Blood Bank operates in Nebraska and western Iowa and relies on the local community to donate blood to help ensure a safe and stable blood supply is available to area hospitals and other partners.
In 2016, Nebraska Community Blood Bank merged with New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe). As a division of NYBCe, we are part of a network that is internationally recognized for its high humanitarian impact, including lifesaving blood products, specialty pharmaceuticals, and high-quality clinical, technical, testing, and consultative services for healthcare providers and patients.
