Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB) recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Eagle Run Donor Center in Omaha with an open house recognizing the donors, community members, partners, and team members who have helped make the location a success.

Since opening its doors last summer, the Eagle Run Donor Center has welcomed donors and expanded access to lifesaving blood donation opportunities throughout the Omaha community. During the anniversary celebration, guests toured the center, met NCBB team members, learned more about the blood donation process, and saw the important work happening behind the scenes.

Representatives from Mayor Ewing’s Office, Senator Deb Fischer’s Office, Kathy Bossman, the Omaha Fire Department, and the Team Jack Foundation shared their perspectives on the importance of blood donation during a press conference.

NCBB extends its gratitude to all donors, community partners, and team members who have supported the Eagle Run Donor Center over the past year. Their commitment helps ensure hospitals and patients across the region have access to the blood products they need.

Here’s to many more years of impact at the Eagle Run Donor Center!
