Over the weekend, NCBB Executive Director Cheryl Warholoski had the opportunity to attend the Nebraska Huskers vs. Maryland Terrapins game alongside Chancellor Ankerson and Dr. Gold, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this community and the Abbott/Big Ten We Give Blood competition!
It was a great day to connect with students, meet members of the campus community, and discuss the importance of blood donation. Young donors play such an important role in the future of our blood supply, and we’re grateful for every student who chooses to roll up a sleeve and give back.
And, of course, getting to celebrate a Cornhuskers win made the day even better!
We’re proud to partner with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and look forward to continuing to inspire the next generation of lifesavers. Nebraska currently ranks second in the Abbott/Big Ten We Give Blood competition – to donate blood and support, click here.
