On August 19, in partnership with NCBB, First Alert 6 hosted its Community First Blood Drive at the Kiewit Luminarium. From 10AM to 5PM, people from throughout the Omaha metro area came together to donate blood in response to the WOWT First Alert call to action.
We are thrilled to share that 42 units of blood were collected during this inaugural media-driven blood drive. These donations will make a meaningful difference for local patients, and we look forward to watching this event grow in the future.
This successful collaboration between WOWT First Alert 6, Kiewit Luminarium, and Nebraska Community Blood Bank came together quickly and effectively, demonstrating what can happen when local organizations unite around a shared mission to support patients in our community.
