Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB) is proud to honor Brain Cancer Awareness Month this May by partnering with the Team Jack Foundation, a Nebraska-based nonprofit dedicated to funding pediatric brain cancer research and supporting children and families affected by the disease.
For every donor who gives blood at NCBB locations throughout May, NCBB will donate $1 to the Team Jack Foundation. This initiative helps advance critical research efforts and provides support to children bravely battling brain cancer.
The Team Jack Foundation was inspired by Jack Hoffman, a young Nebraska football fan whose courage in fighting brain cancer captured national attention and sparked a movement of hope and advocacy. Today, the organization continues to invest in innovative research and raise awareness to improve outcomes for pediatric brain tumor patients.
NCBB encourages employees to help spread the word and participate in this meaningful campaign. Every donation not only helps maintain a safe and ready blood supply for local hospitals but also contributes to life-changing research and support services for families in need.
