Who We Are
Nebraska Community Blood Bank has been saving lives in our communities since 1968—and relies on the local community to donate blood to help ensure a safe and stable blood supply is available for area hospitals and other partners throughout the country. Nebraska Community Blood Bank is a Nebraska-based, independent nonprofit and a division of New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe)—a family of operating blood center divisions serving communities across the country.
Dedicated to the values of integrity, respect, synergy, service, and excellence, we are proud to be Nebraska's community blood center that also draws from the strength of our affiliated state- and national-membership organizations, including America’s Blood Centers, Nebraka Hospital Association (NHA), AABB (formerly American Association of Blood Banks), and Blood Centers of America—one of the largest collection and distribution systems in the U.S.
