Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Nebraska Community Blood Bank and Serendipities Cupcake Shoppe are thanking donors with some “sweet” deals. Beginning Monday, Jan. 30 through Saturday, Feb. 11, everyone who registers to donate at an NCBB fixed site or blood drive will be given a coupon good for one free cupcake at Serendipities. To add some extra sweetness, each registered donor will also have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a certificate good for a dozen cupcakes each month for a year. The drawing will take place Monday, Feb. 13.

Serendipities Cupcake Shoppe opened in the fall of 2011 and features a wide variety of cupcakes and other baked goods. This is the second time they have offered cupcake coupons to registered donors at NCBB. Their generosity comes at as time when blood donations are low and donors are needed to stabilize the falling supply.
